Lively seaside resort, sailing centre and commercial fishing port,
Granville is also a sea water treatment centre. Passenger ferries
depart from here for the Channel Islands and the Chausey islands. There
is the famous Christian Dior Museum situated in the designer's childhood
home. See the Roc Aquarium and Granville Wax Museum. The Haute Ville is
a picturesque fortified old town with its Church of Notre Dame and 15th
and 18th century houses.
There is also a Casino, good restaurants and bars to enjoy. Granville is
an ideal base for golf breaks. The French railway network offers good
connections between Granville and Paris.
